Things are starting to click for the Clutch Baseball Florida team which is made up primarily of Madison County High School players. The team went 2-0 and tied one game during the tournament that took place on the campuses of Jacksonville University, University of North Florida and Florida State College of Jacksonville. That record was good enough to win their pool of 4 in the 28 team tournament. Pitching was outstanding as the team only allowed 4 earned runs over 27 innings and the offense finally showed up scoring a total of 22 runs during those same four games. More good stuff to come from this group who are all seeking an opportunity to carry their ability into college ball after graduating in 2018.
